About Me

Hi! I'm Chani. Postpartum doula, mama of two and your one stop shop for all things pregnancy and postpartum.

Guys, parenting is bananas. And after 10 years in the field I know one thing to be universally true...Mamas.Need.Help.

Compassionate, informed (and practical) emotional and physical support. That's where I come in.

I work directly with parents and their babies as a DONA trained postpartum doula. I offer services such as newborn education, lactation counselling, mental health support and daily logistical planning. After an initial consultation a program will be personalized just for you.

Currently serving New Jersey and New York. Email me for more info or to schedule a free consultation.

When "it takes a village" but so few of us have one, I will be your support, your guide and your advocate. I will be your village.

In Home Visits

In-home visits provide personalized hands-on care for new parents in the comfort of their own homes. I offer a range of services, including lactation counseling, emotional support, and guidance on newborn care. Logisitcal planning, help with siblings and light housework is part of the deal too!

Prenatal Workshops

Knowledge is power! A prenatal crash course in newborn care, breastfeeding and/or what to expect when bubba arrives arms you with the tools and confidence needed for this exciting and spinny new chapter of your life. Contact me for current workshop offerings.

Cyber Support

Sometimes you need advice right here right now. Sometimes

in-person care doesn't suit the circumstances. Sometimes you think of a question right after I have left your home. Text and email support can offer reassurance and guidance from afar.

Testimonials

"Chani is a baby whisperer and -most importantly- a mama whisperer too. Her presence is warm and calming, her insight is spot-on and empathetic. She's firm - and funny too. Having her by my side during the early days of being a mother, I felt like I could take a deep breath - and laugh! And Cry! and drop the F bomb about my husband! And know this out-of-control feeling is normal! (Sucky, but normal) And that no, I don't need to call the doctor again about the baby's belly button. She made me feel seen and supported when I - me, myself , a human person - needed to be seen and supported"  - Nicole, New York NY
